N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Two Bismarck individuals were injured following a rollover crash north of Hazelton Saturday morning.

A 15 year-old female driver and 31 year-old passenger were traveling southbound on US Highway 83 in Emmons County when the driver lost control and entered the east ditch. The vehicle then rolled and came to rest on its wheels. Both the passenger and driver were not wearing seat belts were completely ejected from the vehicle.

The driver sustained minor injuries and the passenger sustained serious, non-life threatening injuries. Both were transported by ambulance to Bismarck Hospital.

The Emmons County Sheriff’s, Fire and Rescue, and Ambulance assisted in the incident. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
