(NewsDakota.com)- On January 6th The Barnes County North Girls’ Basketball Team came from behind in the 4th quarter to defeat Oakes by a point 58-57. Just a over a month later the 2 teams will meet again this time in the District 5 Tournament.

The Bison enter the game as the 3 seed, they went 3-1 in district play.The Tornadoes are seeded 6th after posting a 1-5 district mark. Shelby Roney and Nicole Schmitz combined for 41 points against The Bison, head coach Tracy Heinze says containing both players will be important in advancing in the tournament
