FARGO (NewsDakota.com)- Valley City faced 2 of the highest scoring offenses in the conference and lost both game Tuesday night in West Fargo. Behind 34 points from Akealy Moton The Packer girls won 86-55. Valley City surrendered a season high in points losing 102-78. GBB: West Fargo 86 VCHS 55 

UND commit Akealy Moton scored 34 points to power The Packers past Valley City. Down in the 1st half The Hi-Liners tied the game twice. Tied at 24 West Fargo outscored Valley City 18-5 in the final 6:57 before the break to lead 44-29. They would not trail the rest of the night to earn their 12 win of the season.

Valley City was lead by Courtney Lloyd’s 9 points, Jadyn Dieterle had 8 and Reagan Ingstad and Josie Berntson 7.

BBB: West Fargo 102 VCHS 78

Valley City allowed a season high 102 points with 5 Packers posting double figures. Falling behind 6-0 in the first minute The Hi-Liners were able to even the score at 8 and again at 10. West Fargo broke the tie in a big way adding 12 consecutive points en route to a 60-30 halftime. Several times in the game’s final 18 minutes The Packers held a 40 points advantage to get the season sweep of Valley City.

Nate Rodriguez led The Hi-Liners with 27 points, Levi Nix scored 17 and Matt Lyter 9. For West Fargo Joe Pistorius had 17, Haboniman Simon 15, Raiden Forrest 13 and John Morton 11 and Luke Lennon 10.
