(NewsDakota.com) For the second time in as many games at home Tyler Voightman surpassed 30 points and the Oakes High School boys basketball team won a Class B District 5 game; this time against Midkota 74-57 Friday night.

Voightman had a team high 31 points for the Tornadoes (4-11, 2-3 Class B District 5) as the home team battled with the Mustangs (1-14, 0-5) for the majority of the first half; until Oakes ended the second quarter on a 10-2 run. Midkota had a team high 19 points from Mason Smith.
