N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Minot came into Friday night’s matchup with Jamestown maybe a little unfocused after a brutal week of games, but they found their stride in the second half. After games at Dickinson, at No. 1 Madison (SD) and home against Century and losing their number one ranking, they dominated the second half to win 73-51.

Jamestown made a starting line up change, inserting Jared Kallenbach into the starting point guard roll. The Jays battled in the first 18 minutes and trailed by only three entering half time.

The Magi opened the second half on a 29-9 run and never looked back. They hit 13 triples against the Jamestown 2-3 zone.

Minot was lead by KyJaun Johnson with 22. Mason Walters paced the Jays with 14.

The Jays (1-14, 0-13) are off until Thursday when they travel to Bismarck to play Century.
