N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Family history runs deep in the roots of many North Dakotan’s and tonight, a class will be held to help resident’s search their lineage online.
An adult class being held at the James River Valley Library will focus on searching and tracing both heritage and lineage online. The class, being taught by Barb Gilliss Caine, will be at the Stutsman County Library beginning at 6:00 PM tonight. The class will be limited to 15.
“Barb discovered her love for family history at her great-grandmother’s knee,” the library reports. “An education major, she is on staff at JRVLS where she serves as a reference specialist and assists genealogy patrons. Barb has traced her lineage from Edward Fuller, a Mayflower Passenger. Her special interest is online genealogy, as well as Canadian and Irish sources.”
