CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – 36 year-old Brady Duane Jorissen of rural Rogers, North Dakota has been charged with Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child, a Double “A” Felony, and Promoting Obscenity to Minors, a Class C Felony.

The Barnes County State’s Attorney’s office said the offenses are alleged to have taken place over the course of several months in 2016 and involve repeated sexual touching and viewing pornographic magazines with a child.

State’s Attorney Carl Martineck said Jorissen turned himself into law enforcement on January 23rd. He appeared in court and bail was set at $10,000 cash. He posted bail after the hearing. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 28.

Jorissen faces a maximum penalty of life in prison if convicted on the Double “A” Felony charge.
