N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Finance & Legal Committee met Tuesday afternoon at City Hall.

Chairperson Katie Andersen discussed several JSDC requests during the meeting. The first was approving $166,813 from Economic Development Funds to be used for Flex PACE funding with the city share being $133,450.40.

Andersen reported that a fixed dollar amount was set for the program, so the balance presented is to continue the program in 2017.

The motion passed unanimously in favor.

Another JSDC request was made regarding the use of $25,000 in Economic Development Funds to use for Capital Improvements to the JSDC Center for Economic Development with the city share to be $22,500.

The request was unanimously approved. 

The final piece discussed in the meeting was approval of the sales price for City owned property listed for sale in 2017. City Assessor Darrell Wollan reported that some of the sites had a “not for sale” description, stating that some of the sites had burial grounds or didn’t have infrastructure needed for development.
