(NewsDakota.com)  A long drive out west probably seemed like a longer drive back home for the Oakes High School boys basketball team, after losing to Strasburg/Zeeland 77-52 Monday night.

Despite committing more than 10 fouls in the first half, the Clippers (6-6) outscored the Tornadoes (1-9) 27-8 in the first quarter and were up at half 45-21.

Hunter Huizinga netted 24 points in the victory. Oaks had a team high 15 points from Jordan Cunningham.
