N.D. (AP) – The Upper Midwest’s lack of snow is
causing some concern among winter wheat farmers. A North Dakota
State University agronomist says recent crop sampling hasn’t turned
up much damage. But he says cold snaps next month could be
damaging.
     
MINOT, N.D. (AP) – Minot State University is expanding its
partnership with a college in Saskatchewan. The deal with
Briercrest College allows Canadian and American students to receive
two degrees in five years – a bachelor of arts degree from
Briercrest and a bachelor of science in education from Minot State.
     
    
FARGO, N.D. (AP) – A Fargo business is offering shuttle flights
to cities in western North Dakota’s oil patch. Fargo Jet Center’s
private aircraft shuttle service to Williston, Minot and Dickinson
costs between $675 and $875 per passenger for round-trip travel.
     
MANDAN, N.D. (AP) – The North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame is
holding its 17th annual membership and trustee meetings this
weekend. The event in Mandan will also include a banquet and
fundraising auction.
