N.D. – (NewsDakota.com) Legislative leaders in both parties are moving to suspend the implementation of the medical marijuana law until the Legislature adopts rules for dispensing the substance.

Senate Majority Leader Rich Wardner of Dickinson says it will delay the applications for growers and dispensers until the details on how it will be regulated are worked out.

Wardner says a bill outlining the rules for medical marijuana is being drafted – and will be debated later in the session.
