N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The history of North Dakota runs deep and this month, residents can learn more about the German-Russian women who helped contribute.
“Women Behind the Plow” is a traveling exhibit that displays panels of photos and short memories along with interviews and historic data honoring unrecognized contributions from women who grew up on farms in Logan, McIntosh, and Emmons counties.
Jamestown Arts Center Executive Director Cyndi Wish.
The exhibit continues to grow with additions welcomed. Wish pointed out that the Prairie Legacy German-Russian Country group would be opening the exhibit with a ceremony on January 12th.
