N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department was called to the 300 Block of First Avenue South in Jamestown for a vehicle fire.

According to reports, the vehicle caught fire at around 4 PM in the parking lot of Gate City bank. Lt. Sheldon Mohr pointed out that damage was contained to the car’s driver seat and door. No cause is known, but authorities suspect the most probable cause to be smoking materials.

No injuries were reported. Two units and 29 fire fighters were on scene for roughly 15 minutes.
