SD (VCSUVikings)- Valley City State University had four individuals named to the North Star Athletic Association Champions of Character Team for the fall semester.
Jaycee George (volleyball), Tayler Lentz (football), Geneva Espinoza (women’s cross country) and Orin Rambow (men’s cross country) all received the honor which is bestowed upon individual who represent the NAIA’s five core values.
Through the Champions of Character program, the NAIA and the North Star schools provide training for student-athletes and professional development for coaches and staff by emphasizing the five core values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship and servant leadership.
Each fall sports head coach nominated a recipient for the NSAA Champions of Character award.
