 CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Hundreds of cattle entries for the 17th annual North Star Classic competed to see who would have the Supreme Bull and Heifer during the annual show.

On Friday, December 2nd long-time Valley City cattle brand inspector William “Bill” Hill and Enderlin Veterinarian Dr. Andrew Peterson were honored in a ceremony in the main arena for their dedication to the cattle industry.

North Dakota Winter Show manager Dawn Riley said the first ever North Star Classic Cattlemen Dinner , Raffle and Auction was well attended at the Eagles Club in Valley City.

Here are a few highlights from the 17th annual North Star Classic in Valley City, North Dakota.
