CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Public works crews are finding some unwanted items plugging up the master lift station in Valley City.
City Administrator David Schelkoph is reminding residents about items that shouldn’t be flushed down the toilet. Some of the items are baby wipes, cooking oil or bacon grease. He says somehow a bed sheet was flushed into the system.
The complete interview with David Schelkoph and Ingstad Family Media reporter Steve Urness is available below.
Schelkoph says anyone with questions about what should not be flushed or poured down the drain may call the public works office or city hall in Valley City for more details.
