(AP) The 2016 North Dakota Class A Football All-State Teams have been released, as voted on by the classification’s coaches.

Milnor-North Sargent senior quarterback Jacob Hanson, Ellendale-Edgeley-Kulm junior running back Clayton Grueneich and Carrington senior lineman Bradee Schroeder were all named to the First Team Offense.

MNS senior Adam Neustel was named to the First Team Defense as a lineman, while Northern Cass senior Andrew Jones and EEK senior Luke Wertz were selected in the linebacker category. Northern Cass senior Brant Bohmert was also a selection as a defensive back.

Area athletes from the Second Team included senior Nick Nelson of Northern Cass, junior Ben Hoggarth of Fargo Oak Grove, sophomore Kaden Wolsky of Carrington and senior Brennen Vance and Junior Lane Hanson from EEK.
