N.D. – (NewsDakota.com) Barnes County North Student Council hosted their annual “Invite a Veteran to Lunch Day.”

The focus of the event is to bringmake our students aware of the Veterans that we have in our community and to honor their service to our country.  

A number of area Veterans came and had lunch with a student host that invited them to spend some time with them in class and to have a lunch on us.  The “Presentation of Colors” was done by the Wimbledon American Legion.  

Sgt. Nathan Johnson spoke to the students about the meaning and need to honor our Veterans.

The Barnes County North Student Council appreciate the sacrifice of all Veterans for their defense of our great country!
