N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Regional Medical Center is raising awareness of men’s health by encouraging them to grow out their facial hair.
The event is known as “Grovember” but has also been called “No Shave November”. The JRMC is holding the event to encourage the public to talk about men’s health. Katie Ryan-Anderson is the JRMC Marketing Manager.
MeLisa Roaldson is a nurse working in the Urology department at the JRMC. She says there are a large number of men that have prostate issues that they don’t seek treatment for.
