CITY, N.D. – (NewsDakota.com) The “Stuff a Truck with Holiday Spirit” for the Barnes County Food Pantry is underway and the Valley City Kiwanis Club is proud to support this great cause. On Wednesday, November 9th, Valley City Kiwanis member Andrea Nelson presented a check to area students supporting the local campaign.

“This is what Kiwanis is all about,” said Nelson. “Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world, one child and one community at a time.”

Students collected canned food items, cereal, pancake mixes, instant potatoes, toilet paper, kleenex and paper towels for the Barnes County Food Pantry.

The students gathered and boxed the items on Thursday, November 10th and restocked the shelves of the Barnes County Food Pantry in Valley City.
