CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) The new Gaukler Family Wellness Center in Valley City has some issues with the tile work on the deck of the swimming pool that will need to be replaced.

Valley City Parks & Recreation Director Tyler Jacobson said, “We want to make sure everything is done correctly to reduce the amount of maintenance needs and to live up to the expectations of the community.”

Jacobson said work on the pool tile will start Friday, October 28 and should be completed by the end of November with a tentative opening of the swimming pool as early as November 21st.

Jacobson said, “We are sorry for the inconvenience but this issue with the tile needed to be corrected before we opened the pool to the public. He said a Grand Opening will be held later this year.
