Pahl, 61, of Edgeley, ND, passed away at her home Friday evening, October 14, 2016

Nancy was born September 22, 1955 in Gackle, ND, the daughter of Walter and Leona (Knoll) Schauer. She was raised on the family farm and attended school in Lehr, spending her senior year in Wishek where she graduated. Nancy met Jon Pahl at a local basketball game and they started dating and eventually married.  They had four children together and Nancy enjoyed spending time with Jon at rodeos and horse shows.  They also liked to travel in the car for most of their vacations each summer.  Nancy had a passion for working with the elderly at nursing homes for the past 35 years, including Manor St. Joseph in Edgeley.  Nancy was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Edgeley.

She is survived by her husband, Jon Pahl, Edgeley; four children, Michael Pahl, Minot, ND, Jamie Pahl, Jamestown, Kim Massine, Velva, ND, and Joshua Pahl, Valley City, ND; her beloved grandchildren, who she enjoyed spending time with – Rooklyn Holsinger, Edgeley, Levi Massine, Minot, Calvin Wanner, Minot, and Elizabeth Massine, Velva; brothers, Berry Schauer, Columbia Heights, MN and Jeffery Schauer, Texas; sisters, Donna Sayler, Texas, Carol Motz, Jamestown, Cynthia Ames, New Rockford, ND, Noreen Scholl, Rapid City, SD, Melanie Schauer, New Rockford, and Sherry Kappes, Nebraska.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Leona; brother, Stanley; and grandson, Bishop.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Wesley United Methodist Church, Edgeley, with Pastor Becky Holten officiating.

Prayer Service: 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 21, 2016 at Wesley United Methodist Church, Edgeley.

Interment: Mount Hope Cemetery, Edgeley.
