N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Several individuals were injured and one was killed following a Saturday crash North of Oriska.

Sgt. Benjamin Kennelly with the North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that 52 year-old Sandra Meyer of Hillsboro and passenger Rachel Meyer, 23, were traveling westbound on Barnes County Road 6 Saturday. Another vehicle was heading southbound on Highway 32 when Meyer failed to stop at the junction of the two roads and hit the second vehicle in a T-bone collision.

59 year-old Clayton Schumaker of Bismarck and 88 year-old Alice Anderson of Hope were both flown to a Fargo hospital for medical treatment. Anderson died on October 11th from injuries sustained in the crash.

Charges are pending against Meyer. The crash remains under investigation.
