N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Residents will soon be able to fully utilize the new roundabout on Carrington’s Highway 281 and 200 this fall.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation and Engineering Company Sambatek have worked together on the $3 million roundabout, which is part of a major $20 million renovation to Highway 52 near Carrington.

Nathan Haaland is with the NDDOT and is the Project Manager for the extensive renovations.

Haaland says a ribbon cutting for the roundabout will be October 20th at 10:00 AM. As far as the other renovations go, there are numerous completion dates all along Highway 52.

During construction, Haaland pointed out that there has been some confusion with usage of the roundabout. But it appears that at this point, it’s up and running smoothly.

Haaland says weather pending, most of the construction will be done before the end of the year.
