N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Two Bismarck individuals were injured after a woman failed to stop at a stop sign North of Oriska Saturday afternoon.

According to Sgt. Benjamin Kennelly with the North Dakota Highway Patrol, 52 year-old Sandra Meyer of Hilsboro was traveling westbound on Barnes County Road 6 when she failed to stop at a stop sign. She struck a second vehicle heading Southbound on Highway 32.

59 year-old Clayton Schumaker and 88 year-old Alice Anderson were injured in the collision. Both were life-flighted to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo.

Charges are pending against Meyer. The crash remains under investigation.
