CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) District 24 Democrat-NPL Party honored George Gaukler at their fall Round-Up Dinner for his service to District 24, the state and the community on September 30th.
Former North Dakota Congressman Earl Pomeroy who represented the state for 18 years, spoke of Gaukler’s contributions to the state and the Democratic party.
He said Gaukler became State Party Chairman and held that volunteer post for many years and how Gaukler had influenced him to entered his first race for public office.
Pomeroy also highlighted both George, and his wife Audrey’s involvement in various community organizations, including their support for the Abused Person’s Outreach Center know as (APOC.)
Pomeroy said, “the donation to the Wellness Center by the Gaukler’s is a gift to the community that will enrich it for years to come.”
