SPRINGS, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Kansas man was injured following a Thursday afternoon accident near Crystal Springs.

The State Highway Patrol reports that at around 6:40 PM Thursday evening, 60 year-old Thomas Beer of Almena, Kansas was traveling eastbound on I-94 in a semi loaded with onions when he entered a curved portion of the road. Beer steered left and overcorrected, causing the truck and trailer to enter the median, coming to rest facing westbound on its side.

A portion of the load fell from the trailer. Beer was injured in the accident and was wearing his seatbelt. The crash remains under investigation.
