(NewsDakota.com) Another match, another three games to none sweep for the Oakes High School Volleyball team.

This time, the Tornadoes defeated the Lisbon Broncos by scores of 25-14. 25-18 and 25-14 on Thursday night in a non-district contest. Sets number one and three were easy enough, but the second set found Oakes down 11-4 before a rally to eventually win the set.

The Tornadoes had a total of 38 kills and six aces. Shelby Roney led both categories with 12 kills and two aces.

Oakes is now 23-4 overall. Next up for the Tornadoes is a Class B District 5 affair in Montpeiler to face Litchville-Marion-Montpeiler on Saturday at 11 a.m. The next broadcast is set for Tuesday when Oakes welcomes Carrington.
