N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A 61 year-old Leonard, ND man is dead after an accident on Highway 18 South of Casselton Thursday.

Sgt. Tom Herzig reports that the man was traveling southbound when he drifted into the ditch. A short time later, the vehicle struck an intersecting township road and came to rest across the roadway. The man was reportedly dead at the scene and was not wearing his seat belt.

The crash remains under investigation.
