Haley Glasoe has been selected as the North Star Athletic Association conference’s Defensive Player of the Week. 

The junior from Wildrose, N.D., has been a force defensively for the Jimmies this season, and turned in a superb performance in UJ’s two matches last weekend. 

In a 3-1 win against Waldorf (Iowa), Glasoe registered 7 block assists to go along with 7 kills. On Saturday, against #5 Viterbo (Wis.), Glasoe had 13 total blocks, including 10 block assists in a 3-1 loss.

The 13 blocks is the third-highest single game total in the NAIA this season. Glasoe now ranks #3 nationally in total blocks (97) and blocks per game (1.64).

Glasoe becomes the second Jimmie (Nicole Warren) to win NSAA Defensive Player of the Week honors.
