N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota State Highway Patrol has reported that a man was killed following a fatal crash Friday night near Moffit.

Authorities say a 41 year-old Dean Chadwick of Sterling, ND was traveling Southbound on Highway 83 when he drifted off the road at around 6:00 PM. The driver over-corrected and came back onto the roadway. He over-corrected once more and drove into the west ditch. The vehicle rolled onto its passenger side and came to rest. The driver was partially ejected out of the vehicle.

The driver was transported to St. Alexius Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries Saturday. The crash remains under investigation.
