Hagan, 89, of Jamestown, ND, is now walking with the angels. She passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Sadie was born July 1, 1927, in Portage, WI, the daughter of William and Esther (Balliet) Ringhardt. She graduated from Portage High School and married John “Jack” Hagan on March 5, 1946 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Portage. The family moved to Jamestown in 1960 and then to a farm south of Jamestown in 1968. Sadie was co-owner of H&H Machinery with Jack. She also worked as a bookkeeper at S&L, later Bostwick’s, and the Fair Store. Sadie enjoyed sewing, knitting, and traveling with her children. She also liked watching baseball and hockey.

Sadie was an active member of St. James Basilica, serving on committees and circles including sexton of Calvary Cemetery for many years. She was also a member of the Elks Lodge #995.

Sadie is survived by her children, Kathleen Jones, Timothy & Pam Hagan, Terry & Carol Hagan, Monica & Vernon Batesole, and Tony & Laurie Hagan; 16 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack, on July 27, 1986; son, Thomas; grandsons, Todd Hagan and Tanner Moore; and brothers and sisters.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 19, 2016 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown with Father John Aerts officiating.

Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, September 18, 2016 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
