CITY, N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  For the fourth consecutive year, both the Titans and Falcons met on the turf of Shelley Ellig field on the Valley City State University campus on Friday night.  The Falcons of Maple Valley/Enderlin roll pass Central Dakota 36-6.  MVE improves to 1-1, CD drops to 0-2.

The Titans received the ball on the kickoff and on the first play from the line of scrimmage, Senior Quarterback David Fletcher’s throw was intercepted by linebacker Lain Combs and he ran in for the touchdown from 13 yards out.  The Falcons would score three more times in the first half, all coming in the second quarter.  

The Titans would get their first score of the game and year in the fourth quarter, when Junior Quarterback Mason Smith completed a 21-yard touchdown reception to Lawton Allen.  

The Titans will open up 2AA West action in Cooperstown next Friday night September, 9th against Dickinson Trinity.  The battle of the Titans will start at 7pm, pregame about 6:30pm on the Raven 103.1 FM and newsdakota.com.
