DC – (NewsDakota.com) North Dakota Congressman Kevin Cramer said the U.S. Department of Transportation has awarded grants to Grand Forks and Valley City airports. 

The Grand Forks International Airport will receive $1,339,510 to construct 2,172 feet of a new taxiway to provide aircraft owners access to aircraft hangars.

The Barnes County Municipal Airport in Valley City will receive $27,004 to fund a wildlife hazard assessment to identify the wildlife species observed, and assess their numbers, locations, local movement and daily-seasonal activities.
