N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Parks and Recreation Department will be sponsoring the upcoming Trail Run at Pipestem Creek Trail and Gear Grinder Bike Race on the weekend of August 13th.

Both events were created in the 90’s and feature several of Jamestown’s trails. Ken Gardner is the Trail Manager for the upcoming trail run and says that the trails in Jamestown are unique and are used year-round.

The run will feature an 8 mile race along with a 3 mile race that will both be held simultaneously. Gardner stated that the trails in Jamestown provide a unique challenge for competitors.
