CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) A group formed to promote the Greater Barnes County Area gave an update recently on our Voice of the Valley show on KOVC Radio. 

The IDEAS group stands for (Issues, Development, Engagement and Strategies) and actively focuses on topics of interest important to the growth and development of the community.

Alison Kasowski Chairs the IDEAS Group. She said public participation is an opportunity to encourage constructive debate.  Kasowski said by working together, we can impact all economic sectors of the community and send positive messages about good things going on in the community and what has been accomplished.

Kasowski and fellow IDEAS member, Jennifer Feist gave an update on some positive things happening in the community with KOVC’s Steve Urness during the Voice of the Valley show.

The group looks forward to working for the Greater Barnes County Area by informing the public and acknowledging ideas to keep improving the quality of life.

Kasowski said, “Valley City is a wonderful community to work and raise a family. The incredible benefits of living here deserve some attention.”
