(NewsDakota.com) The number one team during the regular season and post-season in Class B Southeast Region play were crowned regional champions Saturday, and the runners-up punched their fifth consecutive ticket to the State Tournament.

Post 19 LaMoure is going back to state for the fifth year in a row, in spite of only managing a single hit off of Enderlin’s Adam Stenson in the semi-final round. Marcus Good scored on a one-out RBI double by Anthony Olson, and Olson later scored on a Stenson wild pitch.

Parker Stemen earned the win for Post 19; striking out 11 and allowing just five hits. Jorun Hamre registered a single and a double in the loss for Post 221.

Post 117 was up 1-0 after three innings, and turned on even more offense in the fourth and fifth innings; with a total of six runs on six hits. Kindred added another seven runs in the seventh to run away with the championship.

Post 19’s lone run came from Olson, and Cade Gentzkow took the loss, going five innings while striking out three.
