JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department is warning area residents of a new high risk registered sex offender new to the community.
37 year-old Ramon Martinez Jr. is currently living in vehicle at 221 1st Avenue North. The vehicle is a Dark Green 1997 Marc Mountaineer with license plate 684AEK. Martinez has been assigned a high risk assessment by the North Dakota Risk Level Committee.
Martinez was charged in 2001 after providing alcohol to a 16 year-old girl and having intercourse with her. The girl reported that the two had intercourse two other times when she was 15. He was also charged in 2007 when he had intercourse with a 15 year-old girl at his residence in Fargo, four months after being released from prison.
Mr. Martinez is currently on probation with ND Probation and Parole. He is not wanted at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court. This notification is meant for public safety. Any attempts to harass, intimidate, or threaten the offenders or their families will be turned over for prosecution.
