N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Bismarck National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for Stutsman and surrounding counties beginning later this afternoon.

Meteorologist Chauncy Schult reports that the watch will kick in this afternoon and into Saturday.

Schult reports that the watch is just to announce the possibility of flash flooding in the central part of the state due to potentially heavy thunderstorms.

The flash flood watch is in effect for all states in the central region of North Dakota.
