N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Straight line winds and major rain fall caused damage all around the area earlier this week.

Isolated flooding and damage to buildings were also reported. Some of the strongest wind gusts were around 60 mph and caused thousands of dollars in damages.

According to Rick Bohn of Medina, several trees were downed and some of them ended up on local buildings.

“The photos were taken over three different days,” Rick pointed out in an e-mail. “The big limb on the white two story building was hooked up to 3 heavy equipment units with winches and pulled off of the house.”
