CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) The Pokemon Go craze is getting a few people hurt and some in trouble with the law.

The game uses GPS coordinates to prompt players to go to certain location outside the home into city streets and private yards of people.

Valley City Police Chief Fred Thompson says his officers have responded to more calls of suspicious people being on private property and cars stopping in the middle of the street.

National news reports say people are getting injured and even robbed by going into unknown neighborhoods playing the game.

Authorities are reminding people to be more aware of your surroundings while playing the Pokemon Go game.
