N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – An artist who has had her artwork heavily featured at the National Buffalo Museum in Jamestown will be making a stop July 22nd and 23rd.
Kathy Winkler has created several pieces of artwork that highlight the famous White Cloud buffalo and her calf, Dakota Miracle. Executive Director of the National Buffalo Museum Illana Xinos states that Winkler doesn’t have an artistic background and does her work as a hobby.
Xinos pointed out that Winkler creates her work based off of photographs of the famous buffalo. She stated that Winkler will be on hand at the museum Saturday, July 23rd to answer questions about her works.
You can contact the National Buffalo Museum for more information. In other news, Xinos reports that nearly 400 people came through the museum during White Cloud Days.
