N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Central Valley Health of Jamestown will be hosting their first ever Kids Safety Day today.
The day will include car seat checks, immunizations, and vision screenings. Unit Administrator Robin Iszler pointed out that Central Valley decided to do a safety because of the statistics behind child safety in the community.
A certified car seat technician will be on hand to provide free car seat checks for those interested. Iszler pointed out that through some special funding, she was able to secure several car seats that she will sell to those who have a recalled car seat or need one.
Iszler also mentioned that Central Valley Health would be able to provide information for those who don’t know what they do in the community. She stated that they would set-up a Pre-hospitalization Stabilization Kit for the public to view.
Free bike helmets will also be given away. You can learn more by contacting Central Valley Health at 701-252-8130 or e-mail centralvalley@centralvalleyhealth.org.
