N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Up-scaled and up-cycled junk has become somewhat of a passion for some and that’s how the Junkin’ Cuzins came to be.
Jane Trautman and Deb Clemens are part of Junkin’ Cuzins group. Trautman stated that the flea market and vendor show will feature something for everyone.
Both Trautman Clemens pointed out that the idea came about after they and the other three members, Lorene Iverson, Joan Taxis and Kay Suko, saw each other at another expo in Carrington.
Clemens stated that there is a passion for recycling items that are thrown in the landfill. And that’s the reason that they do what they do.
The event will be located at the Stutsman County Fair Grounds on July 16th from 9 AM to 3 PM. They will be accepting non-perishable foods that will be donated to the local food pantry. There will be no cost to enter. You can click here to learn more about the event.
