N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  Harvey/Wells County Post 28 had six hits combined from their 1-2-3 batters as they defeat Carrington 6-3 on Wednesday afternoon in a non-region American Legion Baseball game.  Carrington drops to 1-2, HWC is now 2-0.  

Jarrett Anderson worked all seven innings to pick up the victory, allowing three runs, two hits, four strikeouts and seven walks.  Jayden Shipman took the loss, working two innings, with six runs, five hits and three strikeouts.  Brady Smith worked in relief for five innings allowing no runs and three hits.  The top of the order for HWC, Brian Fike, Koby Goldade and Parker Bachmeier each had two hits, Bachmeier had three RBI and scored a run as well.  Alex Stusynski and Jayden Shipman each had a hit for Carrington.  

Next up for Carrington Post 25 will be on Tuesday, June 21st in Carrington against Hillsboro for two, seven innings games in the Central Region.  Pregame will start at 4:45pm on AM 1600 KDAK and newsdakota.com, first pitch at 5pm.
