Heck, age 51, of Valley City, ND, died Monday, June 13th in Valley City.  A celebration of Todd’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 17th at the Hi-Liner Activity Center in Valley City.  Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and one hour before the service at the Hi-Liner Activity Center on Friday afternoon.  A prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday evening at the Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.  Interment will be in Ringsaker Cemetery, near Cooperstown.

Todd Mark Heck, the son of Clarence and Carleen (Thronsedt) Heck, was born March 18, 1965 in Grafton, ND.  Todd lived and grew up in Osnabrock, ND before moving to Valley City where he graduated from Valley City High School in 1983.  On December 14, 1985 he married Tammy Stromsodt at Trinity Lutheran Church in Valley City.  Todd worked for Leever’s for over 25 years before being employed at Valley City High School.  While working at VCHS, Todd managed Hanna Field and the Hi-Liner Activity Center (HAC) and helping out with all events going on with the school.  Todd enjoyed attending all sporting activities, and whether riding bike or taking care of his yard, he enjoyed the outdoors.  Todd also liked Thunder Football and was a coach for over 10 years with this program. His greatest love was spending time with his wife, three boys and his five grandchildren.

Todd is survived by his wife Tammy; three boys, Jordyn (Jill) Heck, Aaron (Natalie) Heck, both Valley City, ND, and Brandyn (Amanda) Heck, Grand Forks, ND; five grandchildren, Bryson, Josie, Reagyn, Keegyn and Liam Heck; his father, Clarence Heck, Valley City, ND; two brothers, Jon (Shar) Heck, Fertile, MN and Danny (Sara) Heck, Brookings, SD; two sisters, Robbyn (Ray) Hovland, Fosston, MN and Barbie (Terry) Harpole, Dawson, ND; and several nieces and nephews.

Todd was preceded in death by his mother, Carleen Agar, and father-in-law Lenis Stromsodt.
