N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – While the Federal Aviation Administration recovery team investigates the tragic plane crash that claimed the lives of three, McIntosh County Sheriff Laurie Spitzer spoke to media.
According to Sheriff Spitzer, three people were killed in the Thursday plane crash. They have since been identified as 20 year-old pilot Colbie Fandrich of Wishek, his 38 year-old aunt Christine Fandrich and 10 year-old cousin Aaron Nordstrom, both of Bismarck.
Air Safety Investigator Mike Folkerts with the National Transportation Safety Board says their investigation is pretty straight forward.
Folkert says they’ll also look over the plane and maintenance records for the aircraft. They expect a preliminary report in the next five days.
