N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Farmers and ranchers depend a lot on the markets in their profession and are very unpredictable.

The Stutsman County Extension Agency is looking to help.

On Wednesday, June 15th, the agency will be holding a Livestock Risk Management workshop. There will be information on Livestock Risk Protection Insurance and overview of Pasture Rangeland, Forage Insurance. Agent Alicia Harstad states that cattle markets have been up and down a lot in the last couple of years.

Harstad says those who are interested in learning more about the cattle markets or different insurance options should attend the free workshop.

The workshop will be held Wednesday, June 15th at the Stutsman County Extension Office. Registration will be at 8:30 AM and the workshop will begin at 9:00 AM.
