CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) Rick Ross, Associate Professor for Career and Technical Education at Valley City State University, has been selected by the Executive Board for North Dakota Association for Career and Technical Education to serve as Executive Director.
Ross will be replacing Kraig Steinhoff, who has accepted the role of school superintendent for Oakes Public Schools. Rick will officially take over duties on July 1st, 2016. His first responsibilities will be leading NDACTE at the North Dakota Professional Development Conference in Bismarck August 8th through the 10th.
Prior to being selected as NDACTE Executive Director, Rick served on the NDACTE Executive Board representing the Administration Division. Rick currently serves on the Region V (16 western states) ACTE Policy Board and on July 1st, 2016 will start his one year duties as President for the North Dakota Career and Technical Education Administrators.

NDACTE also strives to support Career and Technical Education as an integral part of the educational system. NDACTE is supported by ten different divisions: Administration, Agriculture, Business Education, Career Development, Family and Consumer Science, Health Sciences, Marketing, Special Populations, Technology and Engineering Education, and Trade Industry and Health Education.
